Pure Burn is a Virtual Pilates and Yoga Studio

March 2020 the world came to a screeching halt as we entered a global Pandemic. Fitness centers and studios were forced to temporarily close their doors to accommodate state and county safety regulations, resulting in loss of business revenue and eventually permanent closures.

This left the fitness community with no safe place to practice and exercise except for their own homes. As a fitness instructor who was also displaced from these closures, Zelynda Hardy saw an opportunity for Pilates and Yoga instructors to aid students who adapted fitness into their homes by offering live classes and private practice through virtual spaces. The platform was widely accepted, and word began to spread! Not only can people workout in the comfort of their own space, eliminating the drive time to studio locations, but the convenience was something that they could take with them on vacation or other travels. No one was missing workouts, it was right there at their fingertips. Classes are enjoyed across time zones across the globe- AND above all, the effectiveness of Virtual instruction was uncompromised! As businesses began to open back up to the public, our students stayed the digital course. At this point we knew that Pure Burn wasn't just a Band-aid for those trying times, but it is here to stay.

Private Sessions

Your fitness goals are as unique as you are! Whatever your goals are; weight loss, muscle building, toning and recomposition, endurance, sports conditioning, flexibility- we can keep you focused and support you every step of the way.  

 

We offer x1 and x2 day a week private sessions, which will also allow you to incorporate the small group training classes into your regiment.

Private Pilates and Strength training sessions tailor in on your goals, your ability, and your schedule. We take the 4-Pillars of Pure Burn and adjust them specifically, week to week, in order to get the most optimal YOU possible. These pillars are:

 

1) Movement: We look at the variety of movement you are getting through the week, and make sure that your commitment to your movement schedule stays strong.

 

2) Nutrition: You have to eat to lose, and you have to eat to gain! As diet is a key component to any fitness goals we will explore your relationship with food, and the quality of food you have on a daily basis.

 

3) Hydration: Water in-take aids endurance, performance levels, and recovery. As movement increases and gets more challenging it's important to also increase your hydration levels to avoid cramping, heat stress, headaches, etc.

 

4) Restoration: It is just as important to schedule time for your body to actively or passively rest, as it is to hit all of your movement sessions. At Pure Burn, we want to make sure that your body is utilizing its reset buttons. Through a good night's sleep, fascia recovery, therapeutic massage, meditation and mindfulness. Slowing down allows you to reassess before pressing forward yet again.
